Ben de Souza
Leader, Taplow Boys’ and Children’s Choirs
Ben sang in Taplow Youth Choir from 2010-2015 and later supported the choir as a rehearsal assistant. He was appointed to lead the Boys’ and Children’s Choir from September 2022.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and the University of Cambridge, Ben
works professionally as a freelance choral director with a number of choirs, and as an accordion teacher and performer, holding teaching positions at the Purcell School and Salisbury Cathedral School.
When not doing something musical, Ben can be found volunteering at Didcot Railway Centre, building finescale model railways or doing anything related to football!
