WELCOME

Taplow Choirs was set up in September 2004 by Gillian Dibden and Philip Viveash to establish a centre for local singers and bring together children and adults interested in building their singing skills. The aim - to create a structure of various choirs for all ages, who rehearse together towards performance, providing a centre for singing excellence in the area.

Based in the village of Taplow in South Bucks, close to Maidenhead, Slough, and Windsor, and easily accessible from the South Bucks and Berkshire areas. It is not far from junction 7 of the M4, and up the road from the mainline station at Taplow. Taplow is also easily accessible from the M40.

Facilities for practice and performance exist in Taplow, at the Village Centre and the church; although the choirs also go further afield to give concerts. You can read the track record of the choirs and biographies of directors Gillian Dibden and Lucy Morris.

Soprano? Bass? Our Youth Choir needs you!

We currently have two soprano vacancies and four bass vacancies in the Taplow Youth Choir section.

Interested singers should contact Gillian Dibden (01628 914882 / 07799 413746; or by email at gillian.dibden@gmail.com).

Alternatively come along to the first rehearsals of term, at 4:30pm, at Taplow Village Centre, on Saturdays 9 and 23 September 2017.

INTERESTED IN JOINING?
Come to an Open rehearsal!

We are always keen to welcome prospective new members, especially for Taplow Children's Choir and and Taplow Boys' Choir.

The first Saturday of term is always known as 'Bring a Friend Saturday'.

Just come along to Taplow Village Centre, on Saturday 16 September (10am Children's Choir / 11:15am Boys' Choir), or contact Gillian Dibden for more information: 07799 413746 (or click here to E-mail).

Seeing and hearing these choirs will show you what fun and friendly groups they are, as well as the very high standards to which they sing.
