The Girls' Choir has 48 members, aged 9 to 15. They have already performed at local concerts and enjoyed outside
venues which include Reading Town Hall, with Chaconne Brass, Windsor Parish
Church and the A.B.C.D. Convention
Gala Concert in Guildford Cathedral. They have also sung at concerts as guests of the Laurie Holloway Trio. They have been regular visitors to St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, to sing Choral Evensong, and have also sung in Eton College Chapel. In 2007 the Girls' Choir competed in the International Choral Competition in Celje, Slovenia and were awarded two silver medals. In November 2008 Taplow Girls' Choir sang in the final of the children's category in the BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year competition in Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
In July 2009, the choir gave the first performance of Dreamfighter by Tim Sutton, based on poems by Ted Hughes, as part of the Lichfield Festival. In May 2010, they were placed second in an International Choral Competition in Tours, France.
In June 2010 they recorded 'Good for You' for composer Jonathan Willcocks.
